MoU Signing Ceremony – Department of History – 01.07.2025

We’re proud to announce that the Department of History, A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women, Thoothukudi has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Pandiyanadu Cultural Foundation, Madurai, under the aegis of the Government Museum, Madurai.
This collaboration paves the way for an Internship Training Programme on Inscriptions and Excavation, offering our students hands-on experience in archaeological fieldwork, epigraphy, and heritage studies—an opportunity to learn history by engaging with it directly.
The signing took place on 1st July 2025 at 10.00 a.m. on our college campus. The event brought together faculty, students, and representatives from both institutions, all united in a shared goal: to make historical studies more relevant, applied, and immersive.
