DESCRIPTION:The P.G. and Research Department of English at A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women\, Thoothukudi\, in collaboration with the Nucleus of Learning and Development\, successfully conducts a five day Online National Faculty Development Program titled “Belief Narratives: A Post-Structural Study” from 19th to 25th June 2025\, under the framework of our MoU.  Convened by Dr. Monica Ramraj\, Head & Associate Professor of English and coordinated by Dr. R. Vadivukarasi\, Assistant Professor of English\, the FDP features Dr. Mridusmita Mahanta\, Associate Professor and Head\, Department of English\, Sonapur College (Autonomous)\, Assam\, as the resource person. The sessions\, held from 8:00 to 9:00 PM on Google Meet\, offers deep academic engagement on belief systems\, social cohesion\, theoretical frameworks\, and research contexts through a post-structural lens. SUMMARY:International Yoga Day 2025
DESCRIPTION:The Department of Physical Education\, A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women\, Thoothukudi\, in association with Gamesville Sports Academy\, Thoothukudi\, organized a three-day celebration to mark International Yoga Day. On 21st June 2025\, a Mass Yoga session was conducted on campus\, led by Ms. Revathi Sudhakar\, Yoga Instructor from Gamesville Sports Academy\, with the participation of around 55 students. On the following day\, 22nd June 2025\, yoga awareness pamphlets were distributed to the public to promote the significance of yoga in everyday life. The celebration concluded with a Workshop on Brain Yoga on 23rd June 2025\, conducted by Ms. S. Mareeswari\, a Pranic Healing Instructor from the Pranic Healing Centre\, Thoothukudi\, which saw the participation of approximately 450 students.
