Mrs. Saraswathi Murugesan\, Assistant Vice President\, Standard Chartered Bank\, Bengaluru\, an alumna of the 2002–2005 batch\, was invited as the Chief Guest. The function was graced by President Thiru A.P.C.V. Chockalingam\, Secretary Thirumathi Subbulakshmi\, and Principal Dr. Subbulakshmi.\n\n\nOn the occasion\, the alumni generously contributed Rs. 4\,50\,000 towards supporting needy students of the department\, reflecting their strong bond with the institution.\n\n\nThe event marked a proud milestone\, highlighting the department’s legacy of excellence and its continued commitment to empowering students.

DESCRIPTION:🎓 49-வது பட்டமளிப்பு விழா – 2026 🎓 \nஏ.பி.சி. மகாலட்சுமி மகளிர் கல்லூரி\, தூத்துக்குடி சார்பில் 2022–2025 கல்வியாண்டு மாணவிகளுக்கான 49-வது பட்டமளிப்பு விழா 21.02.2026 அன்று காலை 10.00 மணிக்கு வ.உ.சி. கல்லூரி வளாகத்தில் சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்றது. \n \nஇவ்விழாவில் திருநெல்வேலி மனோன்மணியம் சுந்தரனார் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் துணைவேந்தர் முனைவர் N. சந்திரசேகர் அவர்கள் முதன்மை விருந்தினராக கலந்து கொண்டு பட்டங்களை வழங்கி பட்டமளிப்பு தின உரையை நிகழ்த்தினார். கல்லூரி முதல்வர் முனைவர் K. சுப்புலட்சுமி அவர்கள் மற்றும் அனைத்து துறைத்தலைவர்கள் கல்வி உடையணிந்து மேடையில் இடம்பெற்றனர். \nமாணவிகளை வாழ்த்திய முதன்மை விருந்தினர்\, பட்டம் பெறுதல் கல்வி வாழ்க்கையின் முக்கியமான சாதனை என்றும்\, உயர்கல்வி\, ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் சமூக பொறுப்புணர்வுடன் கூடிய தொழில் பாதையைத் தேர்வு செய்ய வேண்டும் என்றும் அறிவுறுத்தினார். \nதொடர்ந்து துறைத்தலைவர்கள் தங்களது துறைகளைச் சேர்ந்த மாணவிகளின் பெயர்களை அறிவித்து பட்டங்களை வழங்கினர். இதில் 515 இளநிலை (UG) மற்றும் 93 முதுநிலை (PG) மாணவிகள் பட்டங்களைப் பெற்றனர்.கல்வியில் சிறந்து விளங்கிய தங்கப்பதக்கம் பெற்ற மாணவிகள்👉 செல்வி P. கார்த்திகா (B.A. தமிழ்)👉 செல்வி M. மொஹிதீன் ஜாஸ்மின் (B.A. ஆங்கிலம்)👉 செல்வி S. பொன் இசக்கி அர்ச்சனா (B.Com.)ஆகியோர் சிறப்பாக கௌரவிக்கப்பட்டனர். \nமுதன்மை விருந்தினர் தலைமையில் பட்டதாரிகள் அனைவரும் தங்களது அறிவையும் பட்டங்களையும் சமூக மேம்பாட்டிற்காக பயன்படுத்துவோம் என்ற உறுதிமொழியை ஏற்றனர். பின்னர் கல்லூரி முதல்வர் விழா நிறைவடைந்ததாக அறிவித்தார். தேசிய கீதத்துடன் விழா இனிதே நிறைவடைந்தது. \nவிழாவின் ஏற்பாடுகளை வேதியியல் துறை உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் முனைவர் D. சண்முகப் பிரியா மற்றும் ஆங்கிலத் துறை உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் முனைவர் K.S. அனுஷ்யா ஆகியோர் சிறப்பாக மேற்கொண்டனர்.

DESCRIPTION:தூத்துக்குடி ஏ.பி.சி.மகாலட்சுமி மகளிர் கல்லூரியின் தன்னிகரற்ற துறைகளுள் ஒன்றாக இயங்குவது தமிழ்த்துறை. தமிழ்த்துறையின் சார்பில் ஆண்டுதோறும் இயல்\,இசை\, நாடகத் தமிழைச் சிறப்பிக்கும் வகையில் முத்தமிழ் விழாக் கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது. அந்தவகையில்\, தமிழ்த்துறையால் 10.02.2026 இன்று முத்தமிழ் விழாக் கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. விழாவின் தொடக்கமாக இறை வாழ்த்தும்\,தமிழ்த்தாய் வாழ்த்தும் இசைக்கப்பட்டன. தமிழ்த்துறைத்தலைவர்\,முனைவர்.மல்லிகா வரவேற்புரை வழங்கினார். கல்லூரி முதல்வர் (பொறுப்பு) முனைவர்.மோனிகா ராம்ராஜ் வாழ்த்துரை நல்கினார். \nமுத்தமிழ் விழாவின் முத்தாய்ப்பாக\, தமிழ்த்துறை உதவிப்பேராசிரியர்கள் முனைவர்.விஜயலட்சுமி “நீரைத் தேடிய வேர்கள்” என்ற தலைப்பிலும்\, முனைவர்.த.புவனேஸ்வரி “குறுந்தொகையில் தொகைமொழிகள்” என்ற தலைப்பிலும்\, முனைவர்.விஜயலட்சுமி\,முனைவர்.புஷ்பகவல்லி\, முனைவர்.வாசுகி\, முனைவர்.சம்சு ஷகிதா ஆகியோர் இணைந்து “இலக்கிய நாடகங்கள்” என்னும் தலைப்பிலும் எழுதிய நூல்கள் வெளியிடப்பட்டன. தொடர்ந்து\, கல்லூரியின் மேனாள் மாணவியும்\, 2025 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்காண கலைமாமணி விருது பெற்றவரும்\, நாட்டுப்புறப்பாடல்களின் நாயகியும்\,எழுத்தாளரும்\,தூத்துக்குடி வானொலியின் மேனாள் தமிழ் ஒலிப்பரப்பாளருமான. \nமுனைவர்.சந்திரபுஷ்பம் “மனித வாழ்வை மேம்படுத்துவது கலை” என்னும் தலைப்பில் சிறப்புரை நிகழ்த்தினார்.தனது உரையில்\, தான் கல்லூரியில் பெற்ற அனுபவங்களையும். தனக்குக் கல்விக்கற்பித்த பேராசிரியர்களையும் நினைவுக்கூர்ந்தார். மாணவிகள் கல்வியோடு ஏதேனும் ஒரு கலையினைக் கற்றுக் கொள்ள வேண்டும்.கலைஞர்கள் தங்கள் மறைவிற்குப் பின்னும் வாழ்பவர்கள். மாணவிகள் கல்வியோடு கலைத்திறனை வளர்க்க வேண்டும்\,என்றும்\,தனது உரையில் இடையிடையே பாடல்கள் இசைத்தும் மாணவிகளை உற்சாகப்படுத்தினார். கலைமாமணி விருது பெற்றது தாம் பெற்ற பேரு என்றும்\,திறனுக்கு கிடைத்த பரிசு என்றும் எடுத்துரைத்தார். கலைதிறனில் வெற்றிப் பெற்ற மாணவிகளுக்குப் பரிசுகள் வழங்கப்பட்டன. தொடர்ந்து\, 1.30 மணியளவில்\, இரண்டாம்அமர்வு தொடங்கப்பட்டது. \nஇசைத்தமிழைச் சிறப்பிக்கும் வகையில்\, மாணவியர் பாடலிசைத்தும்\, கோலாட்டம் ஆடியும் மகிழ்வித்தனர். நாடகத்தமிழைச் சிறப்பிக்கும் வகையில்\, குறிஞ்சிப்பாட்டு இலக்கியம்\, நாடகமாக மாணவியரால் அரங்கேற்றப்பட்டன. முத்தமிழ்விழாவை முன்னிட்டு நடத்தப்பட்ட கட்டுரைப்போட்டியின் தலைப்பு “இக்கால இலக்கியங்களில் மனித மாண்புகள்” இதில் எட்டு கல்லூரிகளிலிருந்து 50 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாணவ\,மாணவியர் பங்குப் பெற்றனர். பேச்சுப்போட்டியின் தலைப்பு\, “இன்றைய இளைஞர்களிடம் – தமிழ் வாழ்கிறதா\, வீழ்கிறதா?” என்பது\, இதில் ஐந்து கல்லூரிகளில் இருந்து\, பன்னிரெண்டு மாணவ\,மாணவியர் பங்கு பெற்றனர்.  \nபேச்சுப் போட்டிக்காக வழங்கப்படும் சுழல்கோப்பை விருதினை தூத்துக்குடி\, ஹோலிகிராஸ் ஹோம்சயின்ஸ் கல்லூரித் தட்டிச் சென்றது. \nபேராசிரியர்.விஜயகலைவாணி நன்றி நவில. தேசியகீதத்தோடு விழா நிறைவுப்பெற்றது. \nதமிழ்த்துறைப் பேராசிரியர்கள் இவ்விழாவினை  நடத்தினர்.

The programme was conducted with the objective of nurturing and encouraging budding entrepreneurs among students.\n\n\n\nThe Entrepreneur Expo aimed to motivate young aspirants to explore entrepreneurial opportunities and to set inspiring examples for emerging start-ups. Dr. K. Palani\, M.Sc.\, M.Phil.\, PGDCA.\, Ph.D.\, Head and Associate Professor\, Department of Mathematics\, A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women\, Thoothukudi – 628002\, served as the Resource Person. She delivered an insightful and informative session\, encouraging and motivating the budding entrepreneurs to elevate their business ideas in accordance with recent entrepreneurial trends and traits.\n\n\n\nThe event was initiated and coordinated by Dr. S. Vanitha\, Head and Assistant Professor\, and Mrs. P. Karpagavalli\, Assistant Professor\, PG & Research Department of Commerce. The programme was organized by Dr. A. DESCRIPTION:The National Energy Conservation Day was celebrated on 18th December 2025 at 10.00 a.m. at A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women\, Thoothukudi\, jointly organised by the Department of Physics and the Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (TNPDCL)\, Thoothukudi Electricity Distribution Circle and Division. The primary objective of the event was to create awareness among students about the importance of energy\, its efficient utilisation\, and the need to conserve energy resources for future generations. \n \nThe programme commenced with a welcome address by the Event Coordinator and Head of the Department of Physics\, Prof. Dr. N. Rathna. This was followed by special addresses by Executive Engineers Mrs. Remona\, Mr. Chinnadurai\, and Mr. Devaraj\, who highlighted the vital role of energy conservation in national development and environmental protection. \nA total of 100 students participated in the programme and benefited from the sessions. Various competitions such as Quiz\, Rangoli\, and Mime were conducted under the theme “Save Energy\, Save the Future”\, and prizes were awarded to the winners. Mahalaxmi College for Women on 12 December 2025 at A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women. \nThe camp was headed by the CEO of NTPL\, Shri K. Anandaramanujam\, and led by Dr. K. Subbulakshmi\, Principal\, A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women. Thiru. Saravanan\, Additional Chief Manager\, Human Resources Department\, and Thiru. P. C. Ragupathi\, Deputy Chief Manager\, NLC Tamil Nadu Power Limited\, were present as dignitaries. \nA total of 473 beneficiaries were screened during the eye camp. The competition was judged on three key criteria: Relevance to the Theme\, Originality of Thought\, and Creativity in Expression. \nDr. R. Selvalatha\, Associate Professor of Tamil\, served as the judge and appreciated the participants for their innovative and impactful slogans\, which carried strong messages to inspire the younger generation.
