Capacity Building Program – “Strategic Communication for the Modern Mind” on 10th July 2025

The Department of Physics conducted a Capacity Building Programme on “Strategic Communication Skills for the Modern Mind” on 10th July 2025. The session was led by Ms. R. Rohini, M.A., M.Sc., M.Phil., a Counselling Psychologist, Counsellor, and Assistant Professor at St. Mary’s College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi.
Ms. Rohini offered practical insights into the dynamics of communication, emphasizing strategies that are essential for both academic success and personal growth. Her interactive and thought-provoking approach kept the participants thoroughly engaged throughout the session.
A total of 83 students took part in the programme. The event was well-received, with students appreciating the relevance of the topics discussed and the clarity with which they were presented. The session not only improved their understanding of strategic communication but also motivated them to apply these skills in real-life scenarios.
