The Alumnae Association of our college was established in 1980 and has been functioning successfully. The association is proud to have more than 50% of the teaching staff working in various departments of our college. The outgoing students are initiated into the Alumnae body at the end of their course. The President, the Secretary and the Treasurer of the Association are selected by the members of the association every year. The aim of the association is to discuss developmental activities to be initiated for the growth of the institution and the betterment of the society. It is an open platform for the former students, teachers and the non-teaching staff to meet their beloved mates and to exchange their views on several aspects. In the beginning of the academic year, the Association holds meetings with its members to discuss the activities to be performed. It generates funds by way of collecting membership fee from the alumnae working in its own premises. A bank account has been opened in the name of the association and the fee collected is deposited in this account. The association provides financial support/sponsorship to conduct programmes for the students.


  • To extend financial help to economically backward and deserving students in the form of scholarship
  • To enrich the central library by donating books and also by subscribing journals in the field of arts and sciences.
  • To encourage the students in education, sports and cultural by awarding prizes.
  • To conduct motivational classes for prospective candidates appearing for IAS/IPS and NET/SET competitive examinations.
