Community Service at Government Higher Secondary School, Sorispuram – 15th July 2025

As part of its community service initiatives, the Department of Commerce (Aided) of A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women, in collaboration with Sara Dental Clinic, Thoothukudi, organised a Free Dental Camp on 15th July 2025 at the Government Higher Secondary School, Sorispuram, from 10:00 a.m. onwards.

The camp was aimed at promoting oral health awareness and providing basic dental care to school students. A dedicated team of dental professionals carried out screenings, offered expert consultations, and sensitised students on the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene. A large number of students benefited from the camp, receiving timely guidance and referrals where needed. The initiative was warmly welcomed by the school community and stood as a testament to the department’s commitment to extending the values of health, care, and social responsibility beyond the classroom.
