World Nature Conservation Day – 2025 – ECO Club Contests

In commemoration of World Nature Conservation Day – 2025, the ECO Club of A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women, Thoothukudi, in collaboration with Dhrangadhra Chemical Works Limited (DCW Ltd.), is pleased to announce a series of competitions aimed at raising awareness and encouraging active participation in environmental conservation. The events include a Photography contest on “Biodiversity of Thoothukudi”, a PowerPoint Presentation competition on “Reduce Your Carbon Footprint”, and a Speech contest focusing on “The Role of Students in Protecting the Environment.” Students are invited to submit their entries on or before 25th July 2025 to apcmecoclub@gmail.com. The winners will be felicitated on 28th July 2025 during the observance of World Nature Conservation Day. The event is coordinated by Dr. V. Sornalakhshmi, Assistant Professor of Botany, and Dr. K. Bala Deepa Arasi, Assistant Professor of Mathematics. All are encouraged to participate and contribute towards nurturing a greener tomorrow.
