Achievements in the Sixth Edition of the Thoothukudi Book Fair
The sixth edition of the Thoothukudi Book Fair, with the theme “Thodarnthu Padi Thoothukudi”, was held at Tharuvai Grounds from 22nd to 31st August 2025. The event was organised in partnership with the Book Sellers and Publishers Association of South India (BAPASI) and the Thoothukudi District Book Fair Organising Committee, under the leadership of Thoothukudi Collector Mr. K. Elambahavath.
In this prestigious event, our students achieved commendable success:

Ms. Mahabharathi, III B.Sc Chemistry, from the P.G. & Research Department of Chemistry, secured Second Place in Book Review and Elocution, and Third Place in Debate. She was honoured by the Additional Collector with a cash prize of Rs. 2000.

Ms. S. Maheswari, III B.Sc Physics, from the Department of Physics, won First Place in Book Review and Elocution, and Third Place in Debate. She was honoured by the Additional Collector with a cash prize of Rs. 3500.
