Youth Welfare Association – One Day Seminar on Saree Pleating and Draping on 12th September 2025

The Youth Welfare Association of A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women, Thoothukudi, organized a one-day seminar on Saree Pleating and Draping on 12th September 2025 at the College Conference Hall.
The session was led by our esteemed Resource Person, Mrs. Praveena Bala, Founder of N13 Beauty Care & Academy, Thoothukudi, who shared her expertise in the art of saree draping. She demonstrated a variety of creative and professional saree pleating styles that highlighted elegance, confidence, and cultural pride.
The programme provided our students with practical knowledge, enhancing their grooming and presentation skills. It was an interactive and inspiring session where participants actively engaged and learned the nuances of styling.
The event was both informative and enjoyable, leaving everyone motivated to embrace traditional attire with a modern touch.
