Free Eye Camp- CSR Initiative by NLC Tamil Nadu Power Limited (NTPL) – NTPL, Aravind Eye Hospital and A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women – 12.12.2025

Under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of NLC Tamil Nadu Power Limited (NTPL), Thoothukudi, a Free Eye Camp was jointly organised by NTPL, Aravind Eye Hospital, and A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women on 12 December 2025 at A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women.
The camp was headed by the CEO of NTPL, Shri K. Anandaramanujam, and led by Dr. K. Subbulakshmi, Principal, A.P.C. Mahalaxmi College for Women. Thiru. Saravanan, Additional Chief Manager, Human Resources Department, and Thiru. P. C. Ragupathi, Deputy Chief Manager, NLC Tamil Nadu Power Limited, were present as dignitaries.
A total of 473 beneficiaries were screened during the eye camp. As part of the initiative, 214 spectacles were distributed free of cost, and free medicines were provided to 53 beneficiaries, ensuring comprehensive eye care support.
