On the occasion of 75th Independence Day, Thoothukudi District Badminton Club district level school and college competition was held today 21.08.2022 at Thoothukudi, P&D Colony. 8 teams participated in this.
In this, A.P.C. Mahalaxmi Women’s College won the first position. J. Jaya Arthi 2nd Year English & C. Mameetha 2nd year maths student won the best gamer award.
Our Secretary, Thiru A.P.C.V. Chockalingam, our College Principal, Dr. P. Bala Shunmuga Devi and our Physical Education Director, Dr. R. Anista and the sportsmen M. Soundarya, J. Jaya Aarthi, C. Mameetha, U. Rithika, Varshini, Chopana and Sangeetha were praised.
The tournament was organized by the – President of Thoothukudi District Badminton Club, Mr. Murugesan and Secretary, Mr. P. Kannan.
